Red Square

Walking into Red Square is a magical experience. Just the thought of standing in this plaza seemed impossible 15 years ago. After walking through the entry gates, a magical church seems to float along the horizon. Looking around you can see GUM department store, St. Basil’s Cathedral, the Kremlin wall, and Lenin’s tomb amongst other buildings. Each evokes a particular era in Russian history.

Manezhnaya Ploshchad is a plaza just outside of Red Square. Fountains and domes on the surface act as sunlights for the subterranean shopping mall.
